Acrylic, glass, photographs printed on translucent gummed paper, translucent gummed paper, cardboard, ink.
Bio
In an ideal world we could sit down, have a drink and share the situations that real people find themselves in and how Roe v Wade saved women from a situation they were not ready for, or an existence that they did not want. Serving Up A Glass of Reality shares a real-life “choice” story on the serving tray, the glasses show women from 2019, 2020, and 2021 Women’s Marches, and the coasters excerpt parts of the Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization Opinion of the Court, as well as present counterpoints both current and historic.
