Alyson Aliano
Bio
Alyson attended Boston University and The School of Visual Arts. She graduated with a BFA in photography. She has taught photography at NYU Steinhardt School, Columbia University, The School of Visual Arts, and the New York Film Academy. She has taught for various non-profits, bringing the experience of photography to teenagers. She co-founded a photography camp that gives scholarships to children in Los Angeles. Her clients include GQ, W, The New York Times Magazine, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Time, Linked In, Cosmo, Wired, People, Ogilvy and Mather, among others. She is a contributing artist with Redux Pictures, Women Photograph, The Luupe, and Authority Collective. Alyson makes environmental portraits of real people. Her intention is to tell peoples’ stories respectfully and authentically.
